Getting Through Tough Times

Life is a cycle. It keeps going. It keeps moving. Expect some good times and some tough times too. It’s always nice when the sun is out until the clouds start rolling in. When life becomes a little bit harder than yesterday you always have a choice.

A choice to keep moving, a choice to stop and worry, a choice to look for someone to blame, a choice to take responsibility, there’s always a choice. Worse even when you don’t make a choice it’s still a choice. When you choose to worry especially on things that are outside of your control you stop focusing on what is within your control.

I read somewhere that,

Worry is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do, but it won’t get you anywhere.

You have to keep moving because life stops when you stop moving. You need to focus 90% of your energy and thoughts to the solution part of your tough times so that you can be able to learn something about you or about life. The 10% on the tough time so that you can actually have a perspective of why you should keep moving. If all else fails remember

Tough times never last, but tough people do- Robert Schuller
